The United Church of Northern India
Trust Association

All About UCNITA

The United Church of Northern India Trust Association (UCNITA) serves as the incorporated fiduciary and administrative body responsible for holding and administering properties, institutions, and assets dedicated to the work and mission of the United Church of Northern India.

The Association exists to ensure that the resources entrusted to the Church are properly safeguarded, responsibly administered, and utilized in support of the Church’s ministries and institutional life.

UCNITA performs a corporate administrative function. It is not an ecclesiastical court and does not exercise spiritual or doctrinal authority within the Church. Ecclesiastical authority remains vested in the General Assembly of the United Church of Northern India, which serves as the supreme constitutional authority of the Church.

Accordingly, UCNITA functions as the incorporated administrative and fiduciary mechanism operating in coordination with that constitutional authority, ensuring that the legal, corporate, and property affairs of the Church are managed within an orderly institutional framework.
